Intro

Mixirica on the go is an effort of this humble blogger to say goodbye to nyc.. my town for the last 9 years.

I propose to myself to do every single thing that i always wanted to do in ny but i never got the time, money, or enough energy to get out there when is very hot or very cold out

every weekend i will take my partner coyle and we will mark one least thing on our list, make the moment official and blog about it...

I have tried to leave nyc before, thats a fact. But with this new method, this new carpe dien attitude, i hopefully will be more assured on my decision to leave, because after all, i would have done all that i wanted here and that must be a great feeling very suitable for my closure

I was always being melancholic, thats for sure. I remember saving my last pages of a book just to not say goodbye to the nice characters on the books. if the book was finished, the trip was over... and if i saved it, i always have a back up entertainment plan...

now, with ny is even worse. every day i wake up with the burden that i should be doing some ny thing before i finally go. i know i will regret later all those days that i was too lazy to go to the corner and have some amazing experience.

I dont want to regret anything, i dont want to have never really get to know nyc...

It will be a long and sinuous road, as aways is when one is trying to have fun and capture the moment forever at the same time...

i am up against the weather, laziness, pms, hangovers and all my psychological blocs to have fun... but oxossi is my father and i will find whatever i am looking for...

since the only object is money, all the other good old free and cheap stuff are available for enjoying...

please send me any ideas that i might have forgotten for now.

i will start with the most simple, infantile, winter wish of them all, and i am actually very sorry for myself that i have never done it.: Heeeere we go: the number one of my list:

1- snow ball fighting: My partner coyle might not be so psyched about that but lets see how he deals with high pressure situations like that...
